Airport

By Arthur Hailey

This bestselling novel is about a metropolitan airport hit by a storm hindering flight departures and arrivals affecting the lives of many, in different but gripping ways.

A glimpse of the aviation industry depicted effortlessly by Hailey.  Snowstorms, stuck planes, mid-air crashes, mad suicidal bomber, sinful sex (with an air hostess), family problems all interplay in a well planned and interesting way. A thrilling night for things to go wrong, all at the same time, and a man’s fight to restore things to normal absorb the reader throughout.

Hailey’s impeccable attention to details demands undivided attention by the reader. And it is totally worth it.

A great read.
